Abstract
The quantity of the dental care insurance has been increased since the National Medical lnsurance System, one of the social security systems, was started. Though many problems on wage system with dental treatment expenses are pointed out, in
fact,
there
aren't a lot of systematic studies on wage system with dental treatment expenses. By using the questionaires designed to investigate the fundamental actual conditions of it, we surveyed 487 dental clinics located in kwangju and Chonnam community
by
mail.
@ES The results were as follows;
@EN 1. 63.6% of the respondents recognized demand operations for dental treatment expenses.
2. 80.7% of the respondents was dissatisfied with the examination on demands for dental treatment expenses.
3. In the reduced fields of the demands for dental treatment expenses, the field of periodontal treatment was 72.0%, the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, 13.6% and the field of endodontic treatment, 12.9%, in that order.
4. Approximately 37.9% of the respondents experienced the formal objection to the examination results on wage system with dental treatment expenses and 60.9% found it great bother to raise the object.
In conclusion, systematic governmental study on the all field of dental insurance system including the claim and review of dental treatment expenses and the system of fee-for-service was demanded, and at the sametime, dentist's active
participation
for
improvement of regime was needed.
